The Perfect Mate Cup & Yerba Mate Combination
I love this yerba mate cup. I got the 12oz stainless steel one. It looks great, feels great (light but sturdy), and it holds the perfect amount of mate. I was second guessing getting the 12oz, thinking it was going to be too big, but it is just the right size. This cup keeps your mate hot for a long time. I have to add a splash of cold water just so I can drink it in a reasonable period of time (that’s a good thing). I don’t know anything about the outer coating peeling off (as reported by some others) because there is no outer coating on the silver stainless steel cup that I purchased. I’ve had several mate cups/gourds in the past but I will never go back to using them after buying this cup. I’m not sure how the lid will hold up, hopefully it will because it really helps to keep the mate hot. I will report back if there are any issues.

Bueno, this is perhaps the best yerba mate cup that I own. I have about 20 versions...gourds, ceramic, wood, etc. This one is by far the most easy to use and to clean. Special features: -2x the size of most yerba mate cups. -Plastic and metal: Easy to clean, not breakable, won't decay, won't mold -The lid keeps the mate warm (or cold...) and makes it so nothing gets in while you are drinking -Comes with a bombilla cleaner (yay) and an extra bombilla that doesn't fit in the cup, but will work wonderfully with my many other cups that don't have the lid. -Its beautiful. Easy to hold. -1 warning, don't overfill cup or the water and yerba will gush out. I got a little too enthusiastic the first time I used it and made a big mess. Could burn you if your fingers are right there and you overfilled it

Honestly excellent, super easy to use and has worked with every filament ive thrown at it, bambu filaments in particular are very well calibrated out of the box.
My first Yerba Mate… already ordered another! I don’t ever wanna run out. Low dust, mix of leaves and stems. Caffeine has a profound effect but not a quick spike or crash like coffee. It’s a steady rise, nice long plateau and slow decent. But it’s definitely noticeable energy boost. Flavor is earthy but not too earthy. I’ve brewed in the pour over, French Press and cold brewed. I use a touch of sweetener. It’s lovely 🥰 Thoroughly enjoy my Mate!
